LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

JEALOUS PUPS!

Hmmm. I escaped from the pups for a short while this morning, while I went to get my hair done. I know, I know, it's only Thursday, but Charles and I are going to a charity fashion show in Gosforth tonight and I didn't want to look TOO disheveled. Why are we going to a fashion show? Because Christina has organised it and obviously I didn't want to let the side down by turning up looking like a tramp. (Is that politically incorrect ie a slur on tramps? I don't know.)
Anyway I whizzed into Morpeth, got hair done, ran into Rutherfords to check out their shoe sale, bought a very nice pair because they were practically being given away, bought three scarves because I couldn't make my mind up as to which will go best with my dress (might wear all three!) and a pair of 100 denier tights, then raced home only to bump into (not literally, as in I didn't bump into them in the car) the man with the Samoyeds. He was going for his morning drag around the village, but the dogs decided to come over and greet me, very exuberantly and in full view of Lily and Rose who watched the proceedings with steam coming out of their ears! The youngest Sammy - who is now the BIGGEST of the pack - just had to put his paws up on me, which very nearly caused an inelegant loss of balance on my part, and by the time I made it into the house I was clearly smelling very much of Samoyed.
Rose particularly did not like this and has been Mrs Grump ever since I got home! (She's gone to sleep grumpy and is even grumbling in her dreams now!!!)
So James, I really hope they cheer up a bit before you puppy sit tonight. I'm glad you're coming up with Vikki because I think you might have quite a trying evening!
