Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Cakes a go go!

JUST TWO WEEKS...

... till half term!
I can't believe it!!
(Wonder if it would be going so fast if I was still teaching?!)
Well, we've got a slightly different situation today. Christina is staying with us for a few days while she gets ready to move into a new pace in Longhorsley. She arrived quite late last night and scored full marks for being able to get through the gate and the front door without waking the pups!! Well done Christina.
Lily and Rose got quite a surprise when she appeared as if out of nowhere this morning. Great excitement!
The pups have been out in the back garden for a runabout already. The 'puppy proofing' changes we made yesterday seem to be working well and they've got a lovely secure space o enjoy now. One thing that is fascinating them this morning is the number of little birds that are clustered together on the roof of the sunroom. They don't like the pups, but the pups DO seem to like them! I just hope none of those birds end up getting caught by my two - because as anyone who know me will tell you - I am totally phobic about birds and wouldn't cope at all if Lily and Rose decided to present me with one - dead OR alive! In fact if that ever happened I would be out of this house faster than you can say 'spuggie'!
Changing the subject (because it makes me more comfortable) I'm glued to Sky Sports News this morning as it's the last day of the transfer window. There seems to be lots of activity everywhere apart from Newcastle, where the only news is the departure of Geremi. This may be a good thing in terms of saving vast amounts of money, but it would be SO NICE if we could bring someone else IN to the side.
COME ON CHRIS - GET FAT ASH TO OPEN HIS WALLET!
