Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

MONDAY MORNING

And everything is back to what passes for normal in our house.
Charles is off to work and the pups and I are doing our best to remain calm, quiet and gentle!
I am counting the days (nay - minutes!) until the pups get the all clear - hopefully a week today - and they can go out and let off steam and get rid of some of their pent up energy.
They ARE trying really hard today and have spent the morning so far either playing quietly with their toys or dozing. They DID, however, make a bolt for freedom this morning just before Charles left for work when he inadvertently left the kitchen door open. This window of opportunity presented a great chance for legging it around the bungalow - into each of the bedrooms, up and down the hall and around the sitting room, before being rugby tackled (carefully minding their tummies!) by Charles and returned to the confines of the breakfastroom.
I've been outside sweeping away the snow, yet again. I notice we have more forecast for later in the week though. SURELY we've had enough now. I am SO ready for spring to arrive.
