... and the pups have settled for the night.
We kept them up a bit later than usual because they've had a very lazy day today with all that driving around.
It's actually very difficult to keep them from exerting themselves. They're obviously feeling much better because they've started to engage in the usual rough and tumble games they enjoy so much and we're trying very hard to keep these at a minimum. Interestingly though, they're still not barking as much as they did before the operation. This is a VERY GOOD THING, but I don't really understand it. Any barks that they DO emit are very half hearted attempts as if they feel that they OUGHT to bark but can't really be bothered.
I forgot to mention earlier that we went to the Badger for lunch with James today. It was really nice to meet up with him during the day, although it didn't stop him coming up for his tea this evening!
He left a while ago as it's started to snow pretty heavily (When will this winter end?) and now I'm worrying about Christina who is still out somewhere - just wish she'd let us know where she is.
Weather permitting, Charles is off to the match with James tomorrow afternoon. Lets hope NUFC can keep up their home form against Preston. I haven't got a clue what I'll be doing, but will certainly be taking the pups out in the car if they are getting restless at home.
Okay, I think I'm going to get an early night. (Christina has just sent a text to say she'll be home in half an hour.)

Barking too eh? (cue smug self satisfied smile)
