That's what the pups are!
I was just spending a very pleasant few minutes with them on my knee watching 'The One Show' when the phone rang so I had to get up and answer it (It was just Charles to say his governors' meeting has just finished and he's on his way home) and the pups continued to be absolutely glued to the screen! I think they were quite taken with Robson Green actually - they clearly have good taste! The only bit they didn't like was the bit about the insects at the end of the programme (I can't be more precise than that because I missed what it was about as I was on the phone),but as soon as they saw the insects they went berserk and shot off the chair, barking like mad at the telly!
They have been lovely again today. They are becoming really good company now that they're growing up a bit.
Anyway, Charles should be home soon, and I expect Christina will also arrive shortly, so we'll be able to eat. This is a good thing because I am STARVING now and may well fade away from lack of sustenance if we can't eat soon.

Perhaps the young ladies need a lesson in culture. I mean.....the One Show AND Robson Green???? Send them to finishing school for God's sake. Westies are famous/notorious telly addicts, in fact we think Isla might even have racist tendancies given ethnic origin of the faces she regularly growls and barks at on TV (when she's not in the Land of Nod that is). Amistad was a particularly difficult to watch one night.....and she wasn't objecting to Matthew McGonnaghy. And yet last night she sat and watched Valkyrie with out so much as a whine....Maggie Mae on the otherhand treats everyone on TV with equal contempt and as fair game. She's very fond of the Whistling Jack and the birds advert for some car or other. Every time she's up and at the screen and her head drops to the right as the bird falls of its perch as if she expects it to fall off screen and into her Westie jaws. Every time. I think its the music that catches her attention...But I will not let them watch the One Show.....Oh no not my young ladies. Tonight it's Lucia di Lammermoor from New York Met. (you must visit it) My young ladies have a penchant for great tenor arias and Mad soprano scenes don't you know?..... :o)
