WELL...

What a very quiet and sleepy morning the pups have had today. I did think they got up too early and they have certainly made up for it having slept for two hours solid while I've been twiddling my thumbs waiting for them to rouse themselves!
I have actually been a little bit bored this morning. It's very rare that I can say this, but I have actually wished that I could be doing something a little more purposeful today. Having said that I think I'm probably being influenced by the miserable weather and the fact that I had decided early on today that we weren't going to be doing much.
Anyway - the girls are awake now and are getting up to mischief as usual. I have to say that I am being far less vigilant about their exertions as I have realised that I'm just fighting a losing battle. So they are running around quite a bit now. Not in the back garden where they can really get up speed, but in the front play area which is much smaller and does mean they can only get a limited run in.
James has just rung from work. It would appear that HE has had something of a slow morning too. He sounded almost as fed up as me!
