We decided to take the girls to the park in Morpeth for a walk by the river - and they had a great time!
Despite the initial unpleasant negotiation of the vomit splattered footbridge (Leave it Lily!) we had a lovely walk, coping with the geese and the ducks, with joggers and toddlers and even the drunken man who was yelling right into the face of his poor labrador.
We walked right along the riverside and then crossed the bridge by the clock tower and walked to the new arcade where the girls sat very politely while we enjoyed mugs of hot (well lukewarm actually) chocolate outside the new coffee place.
THEY WERE BRILLIANT!
They needed the occasional reminder about not pulling and walking close, Lily barked once when we were in the middle of town and it suddenly got very busy and noisy, but apart from that they were fab!!!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
