LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

NOT A VERY NICE MORNING

Pouring with rain - although the weather forecaster states that we will merely be having 'showers.' Hmmm, that's not what it looks like here.
The pups have had to dive outside for a quick pee and run back in to be towel dried - not much fun at all.
We probably won't clock up FOUR walks today girls. I'm sorry!
I was just thinking, DANNYMATT - how would you fancy bringing your girls up here one day and we could take them all out together. Your two could be good role models for mine. What do you think?
I was watching The Dog Whisperer last night (I have to have my daily fix!) and interestingly the programme featured two pug sisters who would suddenly flare up at each other and break into vicious fighting. Our two do still have their moments, usually following some sudden excitement when they turn on each other, often with Lily as the instigator. Cesar's technique was to simply grab the offending dog and to lie it smartly on it's back where he held it until it submitted to his authority. It occurred to me that this is not something we have done with Lily recently. Once we used the same technique when she was a baby and thought she would try growling at us - she never did it again! So the very next time they go for each other, the culprit is going to be flattened!

  1. Thank you. We surely will but...it's a little difficult just now for a number of reasons which are just as difficult to explain here. I'll see how things are after Easter...you see "It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change." - and I'm trying really hard believe me
