Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

WELL! I'M GOING TO HAVE FUN...

... this morning!
Although the idiots at DHL Gateshead are probably NOT going to have quite such a good time.
Let me explain.
On Wednesday I ordered a load of stuff from Boots online. This was due to sheer laziness on my part as I could have popped to Morpeth for the items, but instead I decided that it would be easier to have everything delivered THE NEXT DAY ie YESTERDAY.
(To be fair, I probably wouldn't have done it at all, but Charles was wanting some special shaving gel stuff, so I thought I could get some stuff for me at the same time.)
Anyway, to cut a long story short, having waited in ALL DAY, no delivery arrived at all.
I waited until evening, because apparently it can take until 9pm and then decided to track the progress of my goods, FOLLOWING THE LINK FROM BOOTS.COM TO DHL.
How surprised was I to discover that said goods had in fact been delivered at 12.33 and that a certain G Lowes had very kindly signed for them.
WHO IS G LOWES? WHERE DOES HE/SHE LIVE? WHY WERE THEY SIGNING FOR MY GOODS? WHY WERE DHL DELIVERING MY GOODS TO ANOTHER ADDRESS?
So, as you can imagine, I was (and still am) somewhat less than happy, and ended up sending furious emails to both Boots and DHL, with the expectation that I would be contacted first thing in the morning (ie TODAY) with news about my goods and how these are going to be restored to me.
So, I am waiting with baited breath for the telephone to ring and can't wait to hear the excuses. I'll give them until 9.05. and if they haven't called I WILL BE RINGING THEM!
WATCH THIS SPACE!!
