Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Cakes a go go!

YESTERDAY...

... wasn't one of our better days - at least not after the incident with the dogs over the fence. (Next door's dogs - not OUR dogs)
The shock of the incident left the pups absolutely manic. They could NOT settle to anything afterwards and continued their low level grumbling and whining all evening. Every little noise set them off again as they paced the house as if checking for intruders. They really seemed terribly spooked and insecure. I think they are probably affected so badly because they can't actually SEE the other dogs and can only HEAR the frantic scrabbling from next door.
Anyway they eventually settled down and slept through till their now usual 5.30. Short of getting up and whacking them over their heads with a big brick, I'm not sure how we get them out of this habit, but it IS beginning to become a little tiresome - literally!
We're just getting ready to go for our first walk of the day. It's another lovely morning - we're starting to get quite used to this settled weather. At least we've had a break from soggy doggies for a while!
