LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

MORE BAD NEWS

It would appear that the earliest we can now get a flight home is a week on Wednesday.
You will appreciate that we are all now totally despondent.
Can't even get a flight to Spain until then.
First stop this morning is the embassy  - although I have no idea how they will be able to help us.
Feel very down today.

  1. There's a Canadian humourist / artist called Bruce McCall who now lives on the Upper West Side near Central Park. He is a frequent contributor to The New Yorker and considers "Mayhem achieved, boredom relieved". Give him a knock will you and tell him he's full of *hi*...

I jest, of course although I imagine there is a wealth of material here for assemblies for any headteacher daft enough to be reading this... although that droll hymn "Think of a world without any flowers" would probably need to have an extra verse on the subject of flight or lack thereof.

Wednesday week eh? I would definitely be checking out the Lincoln Centre and the New York Metropolitan Opera if I was you...

Lily and Rose? They're doing just fine. We got your pictures up on the TV just to remind them of who you are...but the only reaction was to turn their backs on the screen and demand that the football was put back on....:o)

Scheduled filming has been postponed while the sets are cleaned up and the debris removed after the weekend's episodes of The Pacific...."Lily and Rose take Guadalcanal" was not the film I wanted to make today...:o)

  2. You think that's bad?...Imagine writing a post a la Tolstoy for it to simply disappear before being published...just like that.

To paraphrase then. Lily and Rose fine. Filming postponed till Guadalcanal can be cleaned up of debris and there's an artist smart ass who lives on the Upper West side near Central Park called Bruce McCall (I think) who regularly contributes to The New Yorker who contends that "mayhem achieved, boredom relieved"....give him a knock will you and tell him he's full of sh *POST ENDS*
