Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Cakes a go go!

ONE THING THAT FASCINATED ME...

... while in New York was GRAVITY DEFYING JEANS.
How do these work?
You know the type I mean. Usually seen on young men who are wanting to look cool, they sit well below the hips exposing as much of the wearer's boxers as possible. In some cases the jeans actually sit BELOW the bum - and that is what got me really intrigued.
I know that if I went out with my jeans below my bottom a) I'd probably be arrested, b) they quite simply wouldn't stay up and c) I'd have to spend all my time hitching them up.
However, none of those things happened to any of the 'cool' young men we saw. They happily walked around ALMOST wearing these amazing jeans that defy all known laws of physics and never once did they have to pull them up, or even miss a step by tripping over them.
But I genuinely don't understand how they work. Are there cunningly disguised little braces hidden away holding everything in place or have the jeans been starched to within an inch of their lives so that they to stay rigid and therefore don't slip.
And, another thought - what would the wearer do if, heaven forbid, the worst happened and his jeans did end up round his ankles? His street cred would be out the window if he had to pull them up, or would he just casually step out of them and carry on?
And another thing - well two actually - WHY do they wear their jeans like this and are they comfortable?
