Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

That was the noise I made at 7.30 this morning when I opened the cupboard door...
... to find another dead mouse in the trap.
We had thought that the problem was solved and for a couple of days there had been nothing in the traps, so Charles had removed them, only for me to discover TWO BITS OF MOUSE POOP yesterday morning.
Sure enough, despite Charles filling all likely gaps, there was another today.
I feel sickened by all this.
How on earth are they getting in and WHY when we've never, ever had a problem with mice, have we got one now?
They're not even in a cupboard where there's any food - although, having said that, there is a bin under the sink so maybe they;re attracted to the scraps in there. Not that I'm using that bin now for obvious reasons.
I can't bear to open the cupboard door, and only did it this morning because a) I wasn't thinking and b) I'd been lulled into a false sense of security by the mouse-free days.
This was not the best start to a Sunday.
