Yes indeed - it's absolutely wonderful to wake up to a morning like this. Blue skies, sun, quite warm, no breeze to speak of. Perfect!
I can see some long walks ahead of us today!
Mind you, we won't be going anywhere until Craig (the Mouse Man) has been round, so I hope we're first on his schedule today!
I talked to James last night and he seems to have had a reasonably good day yesterday, although the folks in the Aberdeen office don't really appear to know how long he's there for or even what he's actually supposed to be doing! Still, it'll look good on his CV as he is probably the only Pentagon employee who will have worked in the Heathrow, Newcastle and Aberdeen offices. It sounds as if the Aberdeen guys are going to make an effort to help him fit in and he's off to a quiz night on Thursday and they're going to start up 5-a-side again so he'll be happy with that! It can't be much fun being stuck in a hotel room though and I'm sure he'll be looking forward to the weekend.
Charles has gone off to school muttering about his busy day ahead, meanwhile I can look forward to a day in the sun!! Yeah!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
