... You're in the coffee shop in John Lewis and sitting next to you are two sweet little old ladies who are clearly enjoying a day out in town. They are smartly dressed for the occasion in tweed skirts and pastel coloured blouses under their neatle tailored jackets. Make up is immaculate - cheeks powdered and just a hint of rouge (or maybe they've been pinching their cheeks like my mum used to do to give them a bit of colour - ouch!) Pearls sitting neatly around their necks. One took her seat while the other went off for the cherry scones and a pot of tea for two. They looked just like evryones idea of Gran.
And then a mobile went off and one of these dear little ladies whipped it out of her bag! That in itself ruined my picture of the ideal grandma - but the finishing touch was the ringtone...
...' Hey Big Spender' !!!
Just goes to show how deceptive appearances can be!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

ReplyDeleteSo have you thought about changing your ring tone to 'Hey big spender' then Sue? ;-) What have you got now? What would you go for? (You may be able to predict I have the factory settiing Nokia tone.....so what should I consider????)
