LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Cakes a go go!

JIM'S ON HIS WAY...

... to Aberdeen to start his training with the Sub Sea Division. He left after lunch, at about 2.30, so should get to his hotel at about 7pm - Sunday traffic permitting! He'll be back for the weekend, although I really don't envy him the drive on a Friday evening. With any luck, he'll get a quick getaway.

He decided he wanted to take Lily with him! He thought she would just lie under his desk and keep him company - which she probably would! The only drawback to that is that Rose would be beside herself if she was left on her own. Why wouldn't he want to take Rose? Probably because she's the complete opposite of Lil and would never settle for a minute! However, it's all academic, as I wouldn't let them go anyway!

He stopped off at heighley on the way up and brought a couple of mouse traps with him. We're going to put these outside the kitchen at night time in the hope of heading the critters off at the pass. (Still haven't talked to the guy next door as he seems to be out for the day - but we'll try and catch him later on.)

We've just taken the girls down Villa Lane for a good long walk now that the rain's stopped, and then took them into the back garden again, where they made an initial dash for the fence, but were easily distracted and then didn't really bother with it after that. Mind you, next door's dogs weren't out at the time so that probably helped quite a bit!
