JUST BACK...

... from having my hair cut and the roots done. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I'm totally bewildered by how now that I'm blonde my roots are dark, but when I was dark they were coming through white. How does that happen?
Met Ji for a coffee, although we both agreed that we should have gone for a cold drink as it was so hot. Yes - HOT - even in Northumberland.
The girls just want to lie around and are trying to find the coolest places. In fact, Lily didn't even want her breakfast this morning. This isn't unusual as she seems to have gone back to the reluctance to eat breakfast that she had when she was little. More often than not, I can tempt her by giving her one or two bits from the bowl in my hand and then she'll eat the rest from the bowl - but this morning she wasn't interested in th bowl at all. There's never a problen at tea time, so maybe she's just not a morning pup!
Like yesterday, it seems to be clouding over a little and becoming a bit cooler now, so I'll try to persuade them that a walk would be a good idea - otherwise we'll pay the price later!
