THE PUPS HAVE BEEN OFF LEAD IN THE DOG PARK...
...AND THEY CAME BACK AS WELL!
Hooray! We've done it!
Our two arrived at the park to find a little terrier and an old labrador enjoying themselves off their leads. We got talking to their owners, who assured me the park is secure and that there were enough of us to catch the girls if they decided to make a break for it, so with some trepidation on my part (not on Charles's!) we let them go!
And they had a fab time chasing around with the terrier and stil coming back for treats when they were called.
I'm so glad we've done it, although I probably won't feel confident enough to try it on my own for a while, nor will I let them off their leads down Villa Lane - but it's a start!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
