... having a very lazy start to the day! We've noticed that recently they aren't really ready to get up when Charles gets up for work. They do so reluctantly and go out with him for their early walk - but would clearly prefer to have a bit longer in bed. I'm sure this is to do with the amount of exercise they're getting - and if they do it at weekends we will be more than happy!
So, they've had a couple of biscuits and are now lying down having a nap before a late breakfast.
I'm expecting James to ring in a minute. (There we go! No sooner typed than the phone rings! He's fine. Looking forward to the end of the week, although probably not too thrilled about the prospect of the long drive home on a Friday night.)
And the plan for today is...
Haven't got a clue really! I might go down to Morpeth, leaving the girls here for a while. They seem to be absolutely fine to be left now, although I still make sure I'm not out for too long.
Of course there are still times when they will come in the car with me, but these occasions will usually be when we are going somewhere exciting for THEM. (Ideally, I want to get a dog guard for the mini, to save having to get them in and out of their crate. Maybe we'll sort that out at the weekend.)

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
