I think that's what the pups have got today!
Since we got back from our last walk it has rained pretty much constantly - not heavy, but as Peter Kay and his school dinner ladies would say, 'that fine rain that soaks you through.'
They've slept for ages, then disturbed briefly for a comfort break and a cuddle from Mum, then back to sleep again. Very quiet and peaceful.
This is all very wll now, but doesn't bode well for later in the day when they will need to let off pent up energy!
I'm taking full advantage however, and am continuing my latest read, 'The Last Child' by John Hart, an atmospheric, gripping thriller in which 'Huck Finn is channeled through Lord of the Flies.' Absolutely compelling, highly recommend it.
Go on girls, back to sleep - Mum's busy. Shhhhhhhhhhhh!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
