Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

TELLY TIME

The pups are snuggled up with their dad, watching a film which is clearly hilarious if the chuckles coming from Charles's direction are anything to go by.
They have been the perfect pups this weekend and, as a result, have been well and truly fussed over by their Aunti Helen, who was rarely seen without one of them (usually Rose!) attached to her side! Rose has an uncanny knack of one minute being down on the floor and the next somehow appearing in your arms. We're not sure how she does it, but she's clearly worked out a way of making herself so appealing and cute that people unwittingly gather her up without realising what they're doing! Lily, who is equally gorgeous, tends to wait to be invited up and doesn't seem to mind her sister hogging more than her fair share of the attention!
Although we haven't done much, the weekend seems to have flown past. It's been really chilled and relaxed: no mammoth catering, just simple stuff that hasn't taken much preparation. Charles and Bill enjoyed the rugby, especially as Charles's kids from school were appearing at half time in a countrywide competition WHICH THEY WON by beating Broomhill. This means that they go to Twickenham in a couple of weeks! Wow!! Well done Croftway!!
Helen and I sat around and put the world to rights while the boys were out and then, apart from walks with the pups, we seem to have sat around reading the papers and watching lots of sport on TV. The really nice thing about having Helen and Bill here is that , because we see each other so often, we don't have to 'entertain' them and they are just happy to be here!
Should be able to get back to normal blogging tomorrow.
Bye for now!
