Something woke our little cherubs early today - so we've been up and about for a couple of hours now.
It's a glorious morning again. I love it when we can throw the patio doors and windows open at the start of the day letting in all the fresh air.
The pups are luxuriating in the warmth on the step at the moment, although they'll be moving inside once it gets too hot.
At some point today I need to go food shopping (boring) but will try to get it done sooner rather than later. And after that it'll be back to my book! I'm reading a fascinating novel which explores the lives of coloured maids in Mississippi during the sixties. Although I remember the segregation, I don't think I ever fully realised the extent of it and am finding some of the revelations really distressing. Neverthelss, 'The Help' (Kathryn Stockett) is a novel that is well worth reading.

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
