FOOTBALL ASIDE...

... we had a really lovely weekend.
Very lazy morning reading the papers outside, then barbeque lunch with Jim, Claire, Rachel and James (Warpath Redpath)
Of course we did all gather round the telly in excited anticipation, my sister and I fuelled by our new discovery - Swedish fruit flavoured lager!
Fortunately,we still managed to have a good laugh, regardless of the result.
The pups enjoyed all the attention! Helen thinks that Rose puts people under a spell that makes them do exactly what she want them to do, and when I think about it, every time someone new arrived, Rose managed to get herself into their arms within seconds, but no one is ever really sure about how it happens!!
Helen and Bill left this evening, but will be returning pretty much as soon as school is over and hopefully spending a fortnight with us as (after our extended New York break) we've decided to holiday from home this summer. We've already started thinking about what we would all like to do, and strangely, nearly every suggestion has something to do with FOOD! Weird that!
