They are so lethargic in this warm weather. All they want to do is find the shadiest spot to lie in. Can't blame them really.
All the talk on the news this morning is about the England team's underperformance and the goal that should have been. I'm tired of it now. (I wonder how many peple will have ripped down their St George's flag already!!)
No real plans for this week, apart from a reference I need to write for an ex-member of staff. It was intersting to listen to the talk at the weekend between Charles, Helen and Bill, all of whom are still locked into the school system, but looking forward to making their escape!! What happens to teachers that they end up beoming so disillusioned? I know that's what happened to me, and I put it down to the stress of having to endure nine (yes, NINE!) Ofsted inspections and having to deal with all the other additional rubbish that is loaded onto schools. Once I realised that I didn't want to do it any more, I couldn't wait to get out and was fortunately in a position to be able to do so. Just hang in there, you three - your time will come!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
