... the family coming up tomorrow.
Hopefully the weather will improve, because I've booked lunch at the Tree House and it will be much nicer if it's a sunny day. Mum's coming with Helen, Bill, Hannah and Jake and I thought a visit to Alnwick gardens and possibly the beach at Alnmouth would provide something for everyone.
The pups will be in their element tomorrow. They love having visitors! They really are incredibly sociable little things.
At the moment I'm waiting for the Tesco delivery and, once that's here, I can start making some goodies. Charles has gone into Morpeth leaving me with the girls who are getting a little frustrated because the rain is impeding their usual outdoor fun. Having said that, I can't get over the difference in their behaviour recently. They are so much calmer and tend to occupy themselves quietly when there are no pup-orientated activities on the go. They spend happy hours watching me in the kitchen, or gazing out of the window. Not that this is all they do by any means. I think they have a pretty varied balance of active and passive activities and am just pleased that the quieter times are becoming just that - quiet and peaceful!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
