... what happened to the sun then?
I'd got quite used to it and was happily cultivating a pretty good tan - but clearly that's going to be put on hold today!
The pups are, however, delighted with the drop in temperature and seem much more comfortable.
We actually had a disturbed night fr the first time in months, mainly (nay, wholly) thanks to our not very considerate neighbours (yes that would be Craig the Mouse Man and his missus) returning home in the small hours and letting everyone know that they'd had a brilliant evening and would see their friends again soon. Thank YOU for that you two. The pups just had to see what was going on and after a quick growl of disapproval settled back to sleep, curiosity satisfied.
So, Sunday stretches out in front of us but I won't be stretching out in the garden unfortunately. James will be turning up at some point for lunch and then will be returning to Aberdeen for his final week (in THIS stint anyway) - I think his flight leaves at about 6pm.
It's hard to believe that we (well, Charles) are (is) into the last half term of the school year. This time last year, if I'm totally honest, I was literally crossing the days off on the calendar, so eager was I to start my early retirement. It still doesn't seem like a year ago though and how our lives have changed during that time! All thanks to the pups of course!
