... feeling quite sleepy after such a relaxing day. It's funny how that works isn't it? I think the sun also makes you feel somewhat soporific (like the Flopsy Bunnies - or was it lettuce that made them so sleepy?)
Charles is already asleep and snoring like a good'un and I'm just watching the news before retiring for the night. I feel totally devastated for the people in Cumbria who were caught up in yesterday's horrific shootings. I wonder if anyone will ever make sense of what happened?
When I was working in Wiltshire I would sometimes drive from Marlborough where I lived, to Hungerford, which is just a few miles away and every time I always felt a sense of sadness surrounded the place even after so many years had passed since the shootings there. It will take a long, long time for those Cumbrian communities to get over this.

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
