Started (for ME, not Charles) early when the girls decided to get up at 7ish, but used this to great advantage by getting on with loads of baking. Have now got two slabs of Genoese sponge ready to cut up for fondant fancies, a large sponge ready for filling and icing and a batch of cupcakes ready to go into the oven.
James called in earlier, having got up early to continue his best man duties. Is this a never ending wedding? They're all having a hog roast today - I'm sure that'll cure any hangovers!!
Anyway, it was good to see him.He'd been nervous about his speech, but said it had gone well once he got started. I think he would have preferred to eat AFTER his speech because he said he didn't enjoy his meal much!
Right - Charles is going to get the grass cut (I hope) and I'm going to carry on with the baking!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
