CHERRY STONES

It's that time of the year when we can't set foot outside the house without trampling on dozens of cherry stones. The tree in our front garden is absolutely laden with cherries (It's a cherry tree obviously!) and the birds eat them and then drop the stones willy-nilly all around the drive and the garden. Mind you, as they are still very under-ripe I would urge caution on the part of these feathered fiends (not a spelling mistake: birds are NOT my friends!) as they risk getting a very bad case of diarrh.... diarhoe...the runs.
