Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

DANNYMATT - PLEASE...

... forgive me.
In my obsession about myself and my eye condition, I have completely failed to pick up on one of your comments. It would appear that Cathy has had her operation and I haven't even asked how she is doing.
Please give her our love and big, but gentle, cuddles from the girls.

  1. Nothing to forgive...I never gave it a second thought as I have been somewhat self obsessed about by protracted predicament and impotence regarding said subject too. That's a basic human right surely? All motives are governed by self interest remember? It's only those lucky few with nothing ever to worry about that can afford to appear so constantly altruistic. Even then it's that warm glow that they get from those feelings of altruism that means their motives too are governed by self interest...or so my essay of 31 years ago read.

Catherine is back at school although I have to take her later (H&S), she must remain indoors at break / lunch and she has to be collected from there later too which is a bit of a pain and a faff. Depending on her progress (which is necessarily slow) she may be able to go herself for the last week although I think it's a little ambitious. As it happens her brother came down from the land of blue painted faces for a similar urgent op and it seems to have been non-stop hospital and nursing/slavery for weeks now. Both ops successful with no malignancy but a long period of safely managed recuperation is the order of the days.

But enough of them and their piffling little problems.......let's talk about me. Did you know that CRB has a 60 day SLA with the Police? I'm sure you do. Mine passed the 120 day mark yesterday. CRB expresses deep sympathy and is writing letters every 5 days from their highest level because that's all they can do. Now as I understood SLAs.....ah sod it. I'm still pondering....rewriting....editing....and fuming over my letter(s). One is a firecracker, the other is more of a damp squib. Best not declare a war of words though eh?
