And the beginning of a new one.
I am, of course, talking about the wedding today. Ed and Jen have tied the knot in the company of all their family and the best friends who've been part of a close group since middle school days.
Charles and I went along to Mitford and watched Jen arrive, along with Duncan's Mum, then waited for them to emerge after the service. (I'd never been to the church in Mitford before - it's absolutely beautiful and situated in the most idyllic setting.)
It was really emotional to see all the lads in their finery, being all grown up and sensible - and looking so handsome! (I bet they're not being so sensible now though. The party should be in full swing now!!)
So, I wonder who will be next?
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
