LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

FOR THE FIRST TIME...

... in a fortnight, I haven't been aware of the pain in my left eye this afternoon!
In fact, if it wasn't still a little swollen and discoloured, I'd say it was almost back to normal.

Not that I'm getting too excited yet! I won't be applying the mascara for a few days - (What a difference it makes to the make up routine when you don't put any on your eyes! A slick of lip gloss and that's been it recently!!) at least until I've been back to the clinic.

We've had a quietish day. Popped down to Morpeth late morning and obviously bumped into three of the revellers, but didn't stay to chat as they were no fun at all.
Christina brought a pile of Sunday papers (and a very nice orchid) round and stayed for lunch, after which we kind of lolled around as you do on a Sunday afternoon.
The girls have had a few walks and many grooming sessions as we are still making sure they are flea-free. (While I'm typing this in the kitchen, Rose has draped herself over the back of the leather bucket chair in the breakfast room and is peering over the safety gate that separates us making pathetic little mewling noises to try and attract my attention. I'm determined I'm not going to give her the satisfaction of turning round to look at her, because I know I'll not resist her!!)
