Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

I REALLY HOPE...

... the weather improves before Ed and Jen's Big Day tomorrow. They'll be really disappointed if it's anything like today - cold, blustery and wet. Yuk!

Having read up on Kennel Cough, which seems to be the condition the girls are suffering from, although goodness knows how they've got it, it would appear that cold and damp conditions are the least favourable for them, so I'm trying to persuade them that they need to stay inside in the warm. Unfortunately this is falling on deaf ears!!

They both sounded quite snuffly this morning when I came through to them, although they're both still happy to eat normally and are quite lively so far this morning. Antibiotics have been given and consumed amongst the goodies in their Kongs.

I've got a Tesco delivery coming this morning, having decided to stock up on all the store cupboard stuff we're likely to need during Helen and Bill's stay. They're coming on Monday, which is also Christina's 30th (!) birthday, so no sooner have they got here than we'll be off to Jesmond Dene House for a celebratory lunch - with the Birthday Girl of course!

(30 years! Where does it go? It just seems like yesterday that we were in the delivery suite at the John Radcliffe, overlooking the dreaming spires of Oxford watching in awe as the heavens opened to release the most dramatic thunderstorm I have ever experienced. And then Christina arrived!!)
