Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

NEARLY THE START...

... of the weekend again. and for all you teachers...

... only fifteen more get ups before FREEDOM!!

Charles has pottered down to Embleton Hall for a headteachers' meeting this morning, carelessly dropping his wallet on the drive as he pulled away, but fortunately spotted by my good self before he discovered he had no money to pay for the drinks! (Only joking about the drinks, they don't have THAT much of a jolly!)

The pups are fed and watered and have played that really good game of tipping the water bowl over and using it to play their version of curling around the patio. They're getting pretty good at it now and I'm wondering if there's a canine curling league they could join. Any ideas?

The sun's emerging after a night of pretty heavy rain that thankfully means I don't need to water the garden for once. It does feel a bit fresher out there this morning which is a good thing after yesterday's oppressive, headache-inducing heat.

I'm going to get my jobs dne, then continue with my book, which is turning out to be a real page-turner. I'll lend it to anyone who's interested - oh wait a minute, there's only dannymatt out there isn't there! Oh well - t's yours if you want it then dannymatt!

  1. Hi, just wanted to let you know that I am an avid reader so please don't feel as though you are alone!!!!

I love reading the updates of your beautiful girls. I am a parent and governor at Croftway - we loved the cake at the last meeting, so thank you very much x

  2. See? you are not alone! Good call by the way. I was in the process of writing a long letter which I would probably be better off not sending either.
