NEED TO CANCEL...

... my hair appointment today. This is a major blow, as it's Richard and Sarah's party this weekend and IF I am going I had hoped my hair might look part way respectable, unlike the bird's nest it resembles when I do it. But, not only can I not drive there, I also have to wait in for a delivery that could come any time during the day, so that's the hair scuppered.

    You know I've got nothing better to do than.... playing nurse/slave to a second major surgery patient (within a matter of days - actually perhaps you don't, I don't write a blog do I? Because noone would read it) and writing bitter ultimately counterproductive letters of complaint.

    If "Manu" (as I like to call him) said it, then I would be much more inclined to believe him and not that pillock leading the manhunt, even if it was straight out of the John Barnes school of breakneck punditry.

    That Chief Super reminds me of the spokesman for the MoD during the Malvinas War (Sorry Falklands conflict)who was given the old bum's rush because of his trauma inducing delivery....Ian McDonald I think his name was. I can still hear him saying the words "Air exclusion zone", "Belgrano" "Exocet missile" and "Why thank you Mrs Thatcher....that'll do nicely"

    I think the POlice are doing a wonderful job. And I'm reassured.............now I wonder what the word verification will be.....:0/
