ON THE MEND!

For the first time today, I haven't needed any drops in the left eye and it feels perfectly comfortable again.

I've made a second trip into Morpeth and driving was absolutely fine. Feel much more confident now.

The girls are making progress also, although they do still cough a bit when they get over-excited.

I've spent part of the afternoon buying cake decorations for Xtina's birthday cake - or cakes to be accurate. I thought a mixture of fondant fancies and cupcakes would be a nice change from one big cake. I've got a display stand so they should look special.

James has just rung to say he's on his way up here, with the laundry of course! As for Charles he's got the delights of the End of Term Disco this evening and won't be in till late. He is, however, bringing an Indian with him. (Indian as in a takeaway and not a person - although this HAS happened before now!)
