Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

SO, WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND...
... is how the police have got the information that Moat will now target the general public. Who's telling them this? Is it some of these 'accomplices'? And how on earth, when he only got out of prison on Thursday, has he managed to get such a network of support around him? (Not that it's turned out to be very good support as they've got themselves arrested, but still it makes you wonder how this has all been planned.)

Desperation is borne out of imcompetence. It is an outrageous thing to say. Instill fear into the general public in the wake of Cumbria......"you're all in it with us.....so don't start pointing the finger at us....we're here to protect you remember....."
ReplyDeleteI have to say that in my humble opinion, the police are caught between a rock and a hard place now. (Possibly like Mr Moat, only he could be literally caught.... well I won't go on)
ReplyDeleteIf a random member of the public is harmed and they have not been warned that this is a possibility in the light of new intelligence, you can imagine the outcry that would ensue. On the other hand, they run the risk of causing additional distress and increased worry to an already besieged community. Personally, I'd rather know if the risk levels have changed.
Could just be that I have a particulsrly jaundiced opinion of the old Bill of course. Dectective Chief Superintendent Neil Adamson and SS wouldn't spoil 2 couples it must be said! Bundle of laffs Husky and Starch seem to be presiding over a bit of a farce at the minute: I look forward to the fall out and the subsequent resignations. Of course I'm still waiting for an update to a complaint I made on April 2...perhaps they're busy
ReplyDeleteI can totally understand your frustrations dannymatt. I'm guessing you'd have got a quicker response if you'd been complaining about a dropped cigarette end!
ReplyDeleteCan't understand how ELEVEN forces haven't been able to sort this out and bring it to an end. What about these eejits they've got in custody - I'd be applying some Chinese water torture (or something similar) to them to get them to spill the beans.
