SUMMER RAIN

I love it!
It's still really warm, but the rain is torrential and a bit like a lukewarm shower.
Lily, bless her, has just decided she absolutely HAD to go out for a wee, then needed a few minutes playtime in the puddles and has had to be towelled dry. I think she quite likes this though, because she thinks of it as a variation on a cuddle, which she loves!
It's been one of those days when the girls haven't slept much during the day and they're really struggling to stay awake now. I DID try to get them to watch the football with me, but Rose was being a little pest and wouldn't settle, which mean that Lily felt obliged to join in the naughtiness.
Anyway, back to the football - I know it will be the Kiss of Death for them, but I really want Uruguay to win as they've been my second team all the way through.
