... of the search for Moat.
There is a large number of police investigating what looks like a derelict farmhouse.
Nothing remarkable in that, given the number of buildings that must have been searched in the last couple of days, but the thing that caught my attention was a group of officers standing a little distance from the house just throwing sticks for their dog to retrieve! He was having a great time and presumably enjoying a few minutes 'off duty'.

Just what are you suggesting by that remark? Oh yes and have you noticed the mind numbingly dull press conferences? The deliberate "I'm chief of police and I CAN read" monotone delivery? It reminds me of Ahlberg's "Slow Reader" from "Please Mrs Butler" apart from the fact that the poem is unbearably poignant...and that hairstyle Sue Sim...where does that come from? A 1963 Hanna Barbera cartoon? She looks like an extra form the Flintstones
ReplyDeleteNot suggesting anything dannymatt - merely observing that the dog was having a few minutes fun in the midst of all the tension which was lovely to see.
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean about about the delivery. Clearly she's taking the 'talk slowly and enunciate clearly' message given to public speakers to an extreme!
If I was her - I'd wear a hat.
... or a paper bag! Nice uniform.
ReplyDeleteNow what are YOU saying?
ReplyDeleteSurely you're not implying that she's got a face like a horse...
... or worse!
Okay okay....plastic bag! I'm not a fan!
