After months of having no problems with my troublesome left eye, I appear to have woken up this morning to a recurrence of the old infection.
Very swollen and gungy - not pleasant at all. Of course, because it seemed to have resolved itself, I cancelled my repeat prescription of the drugs I used to take to control it and will now need to see my GP who will then refer my to the eye clinic at the RVI to get the prescription, which after all this time, I could probably write myself.
One of the meds I should take regularly is one which prevents cold sores, at is it that virus that has attacked the cornea. Of course, when there isn't a problem, I get a bit careless about taking the tablets and, and voila, it bites me in the bum as a reminder that I shouldn't get complacent.
(Dannymatt - no problem!! Does you good to get it off your chest though!)

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
