If you fancy a really special lunch (or afternoon tea, or indeed any meal) get along to the Jesmond Dene House Hotel.
We have just returned from lunch, having had the most fabulous meal without feeling over full. Perfectly cooked and delicious. My choice: crab ravioli with grapefruit jelly and lemongrass foam, roast (beautifully pink) duck with fondant potatoes and garden veg, incredible pineapple ice cream, apricot sorbet and chocolate mousseline in a fragile (edible)sugsr cylinder, petit fours and coffee. Wonderful!
Good company and excellent service topped off an incredible meal.
