... to the hairdressers today. They are clearly so excited about this that they had to get up at 6.30 this morning. Or, most likely from what I could hear having lain in bed listening to them, ROSE woke her sister up, frantically telling her, 'Get up, get up, we're having our hair done and we don't want to be late, Come on Lily, get up!!' Poor Lily almost certainly did NOT want to be up at that time and is trying very hard to go back to sleep now, but Mrs Frantic-Knickers is determined that this is NOT going to happen!!
If we can get the timing right, Helen, Bill, Charles and I are going to have a quick trip up to Kelso while the girls are being washed and brushed up. We haven't been for ages. We may stop at the Hirsel on the way. If you don't know it, it's a little cluster of craft workshops and a coffee shop. Well worth a visit.
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
