CRAGSIDE IS CLOSED ON MONDAYS!!
We discovered this only when we pulled up at the gate!
If only we'd done Cragside yesterday and Corbridge today we mighthave had more joy.
Never mind, we went to the co-op in Rothbury and bought stuff for a picnic, went home, made sufficient sandwiches to start our own sandwich business and headed up to Ingram Valley where we went for a good long walk with the girls, trying to avoid all the sheep poop. They had a little paddle in the river (which is incredibly low and just goes to show how little rain we've had recently) and then we settled down for our lunch while the girls lay on their rug with a chewstick each.
At least Ingram Valley is never likely to be shut!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
