Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

HORRIBLE, MISERABLE MORNING!

Wet, windy, cold and forecast to be like this for the next few days. Brilliant!!

It DOES make things easier on the eye though, so I suppose I should be thankful for small mercies.

Talking of the eye - things are not good at all this morning. It's as uncomfortable as ever and is wanting to shut all the time. So progress so far - ABSOLUTELY NIL. Although I can go back to Casualty any time I'm starting to lose confidence in their diagnosis. I will probably go back next week, but hold out little hope that things will get better. I've got an appointment with the consultant on September 3rd, which seems ages away, but I honestly think there'll be no real improvement until then.

I'm not going to mention decorating to Charles. Everything is ready and in clear view as a constant reminder - but I want HIM to suggest that we make a start. Patience and tolerance eh dannymatt!!

The girls had a long lie-in this morning. This clearly demonstrates Sod's Law as last night I had managed to get Charles to agree to get up with them, thus giving me a bit longer in bed, only to find that I was actually awake and waiting to hear them stir!

They're kind of sulking about today. They don't really want to be outside in the cold and wet, but they don't want to be cooped up inside either. I know exactly how they feel!!
