Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Cakes a go go!

MANAGED TO GET...

... the Aciclovar ointment in my eye without collapsing in agony for half an hour.

Could this be a good sign I wonder?

We've had a very quiet start to the day and the girls have missed their morning cuddles with Helen! She rang last night to say their own dogs (Digby and Tex) look HUGE after spending a couple of weeks with out little things. She reminded me of when the kids were little and we'd just got that manic kitten. Helen and Bill had a grown up one-eyed cat by the name of Midge at the time. After visiting us and encountering our tiny kitten, Rachel had gone home and declared that Midge had turned into a GIANT!!

It's a lovely bright (too bright for me) morning. The dogs are making the most of the sun, lying outside and basking in it contentedly. Well, actually LILY is doing the basking and Rose is TRYING to do likewise, but her ever present need to be on the go is getting the better of her and she only manages to be still for about five seconds before having to get up to investigate something. Just chill Rose - apparently it's good for you!!

At some point today, we'll be going to pick up my new phone from the O2 shop in Morpeth. Charles will then spend the afternoon investigating it and I'll end up without a clue how it works! It's always the same. After years and years I've only just learned how to use the DVD player, and that's no good to me now, as we've just got a new one!

Apart from the phone, I'm not sure what's on the cards today. I treated myself to a cake decorating book yesterday and I'm tempted to have a play in the kitchen, but it'll depend on what Charles wants to do I suppose.

Okay, I'm off for a cappuccino now. Be back later!
