... what's happening today.
I know that I have to be around as I'm waiting for a delivery from John Lewis, but there's no reason why the others can't go off and do something - I don't want them to waste their day, especially as we're nearly at the end of our fortnight with Helen and Bill.
To be honest, after the two uncomfortable journeys yesterday, I'm not sure I even want to be in the car today. For some reason the light is more difficult to cope with in the car, maybe because my reactolite lenses dont react.
Every morning I wake up hoping that there will be a significant improvement in the eye department - and every morning I'm disappointed. Today is no exception.
We had a great meal at the Village Inn last night - in fact, with the exception of the fine dining at Jesmond Dene House, Charles and Bill deemed it the best meal we've eaten out this holiday! (Helen and I still voted for the Anglers mind you!)
So, back to today; we're all just sitting around waiting for Charles to get his act together and ring the garage where his merc is, so that we can find out what's happening with that and factor it into the day's plans.
(Oh - and tomorrow, the girls are off to Woofcuts for a wash and tidy up)
