So that was a bit disappointing; as was he result against Wolves, even though I would have taken a draw before the game. It certainly sounds as though the lads played well, Barton had a torrid time and was singled out for the roughest treatment although the Wolves players were a dirty lot and gave most of our boys a hard time and the ref didn't do us any favours at all. So a bit frustrating really.
As for tea. If you are stuck for something to do one afternoon - go and try the afternoon tea at the JDHH, I can thoroughly recommend it.
Each of us had:
4 different types of sandwiches
3 scones - one cheese, two plain with jam (two types) and cream
a mini trifle
and four tiny little cakes
It was really yummy and even though everything was dainty and petite, surprisingly filling.
