Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT...

... Kelso was.

It is years since we were last there and I'm sure we all loved it at the time. We had coffee in the main town square (where the cars were parked today) and found some lovely little shops. Now though, it's just like any other small town. In fact we could have been in Any Old Boring Town really. We all came away feeling a bit let down.
On the way though, we stopped for coffee and traybakes at The Hirsel, where we bought some beautiful glassware and Charles treated me to a couple of exquisite necklaces. Thank you Charles - I love them.

We picked the girls up from Woofcuts on the way home. They both look fab and have that lovely baby powder smell which makes a nice change from Bouquet of Smelly Dog. They've been cut quite close, but look very smart as a result. At least Rose hasn't had to be shaved to the skin this time!!

Now everyone, the dogs included, are having a bit of a doze, before we get ready to go back to the Anglers this evening. (I'm already craving a steak and have a very rumbling tum!)

Now, I may be speaking too soon, but I do think there is some progress in the eye department today. There's less discomfort and it seems much less swollen. I'm coping better with the daylight as well - so keep your fingers crossed that this is the beginning of the end!
