Or in my case Parent Evening.
This means I get the pleasure of James's company for the evening, along with his laundry of course. He's even going to stay over and keep me company as his Dad's away.
We've demolished a stack of fajitas and chilli, with ittle homemade apple turnovers for pud.
The girls have snuggled up for telly time with the two of us - a very relaxed evening all in all.

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

This has been a good day for me too. And it was Your Man in Havana who calculated the trajectory of this re-entry perfectly, as I knew he would. However, as Oor Wullie would say "I'm puggled!" - though pleasantly so. Lifting a Yamaha P150 and moving it from place to place on a sack barrow will do that to a man who has sat on his behind for the last 17 months. I hit most of the right notes and children picked up on the tunes immediately. But...is there a better feeling than being recognised and warmly welcomed back by children from Year 2 to 6 all of whom were genuinely pleased to see me in a Duchamp tie once more :o) Yes...it was a good day.
