... for the man to come and give the lawns their autumn treatment. Although when he rang yesterday he DID say he may not come at all if it's too windy - and it IS pretty gusty this morning.
The girls are having their morning sleep and I'm enjoying a quiet cappuccino with a piece of chocolate fridge cake left over from the weekend.
Which brings me neatly back to the subject of the fridge!
We appear to have a problem with the one in the kitchen. I cannot get the door to close firmly, although there is nothing blocking it and obviously that is going to impact on the temperature and efficiency. Fortunately we do have a second fridge in the utility room so I'm using that as back up, but it would seem to reinforce the need for the much desired new side-by-side fridge freezer that I'm coveting!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

You scoundrel...not even thinly disguised attempt to get your new fridge set up, this. To suggest that your fridge is responsible for contributing to greenhouse gases and increased energy costs is little short of scandalous. Such a blatant tactics suggest sabotage to me. The solution to the problem is probably a very simple one. Oh...hang on you were counting on me for support weren't you? So...really it sounds like the current dodgy cooler needs to be moved to the shed where the lower temperatures mean it won't have to work hard and act more or less as a larder or "meatsave" as my grandmother used to have...(she pronounced it "mate save" - or did I dream that?)
